1424 Container – Usage Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose & Access

• The 1424 Container is designated for Explorer Units and Network use only.
• Equipment is use for only the 1424 Team or Units.
• Access must be pre-approved by the 1424 Team or Team leader.
• Keys must not be shared with parties outside of the 14 Teams
• Keys must be surrendered when requested.

2. Inventory Management

• All items stored within the container must be logged in an inventory system.
• Users must update the inventory when adding or removing equipment.
• Any Kit not stored at the District HQ in the 1424 container is deemed to be uninsured and the district are not liable for it or any damages caused by it – as such its imperative everything is stored here.
• A quarterly audit will be conducted to ensure accuracy.
• New Purchases/Replacememnts should be conducted in line with 1424 TOR and Finance Policy.

3. Responsibility for Damages

• Users must inspect the container and contents before and after use.
• Any damage or missing items must be reported immediately to the 1424 Team.
• If damage occurs due to negligence or improper use, the responsible party may be required to cover repair or replacement costs.

3. Responsibility for Consumables

• Gas/Fuel should be replaced

4. Security & Maintenance

• The container must be locked when not in use.
• Users must ensure proper storage to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Routine maintenance checks will be carried out by the 1424 Team. Everyone is equally responsible for this
• Notification must be sent to Chad/Field manager know when you are accessing the Container/HQ as there are other users to consider.

5. Compliance & Review

• All users must adhere to these terms to ensure fair and safe usage.
• This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure effectiveness.
