Dudley District – Sectional Events – 3 year Event/Activity Plan

Hi All,

A lot of leaders I have spoken with have been asking for more Squirrel/Beaver/Cub/Scout Activities. We are certainly in a position to facilitate this, communicate and financial back these – however we are in need of volunteers locally to run them and spend time on the arranging. We can support, provide guidance and draw upon experience.

With the changes to the district structure and transformation we haven’t been able to juggle everything and sadly this has dropped down the priority a little.

If you have an idea for any of the below; please reach out and get in touch ASAP. We would love to hear from you! We’re really encouraging people to come forward whatever their skillset to allow them a chance to develop; build confidence and run an event that may not be able to happen at group level for any number of reasons.

Also, Fran/Sam/Rhiannon are looking to do some in person sectional leaders meetings like they did last year – to help with info. We really want to ensure each section gets at least one opportunity each year to have a district sectional event – be that Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs or Scouts.
